Independent Timber Supplies is looking for an experienced Timber Frame & Truss Design Estimator to join our thriving business. This is a vacant position is an incredible opportunity to use your skills and experience in Timber Frame and Truss in an exciting and new way.

Your main responsibilities will include the estimation and/or detailing of prefabricated structural timber components used in the residential construction industry with our specialized software.

About the role:

• Estimate/design structural timber roof frames, wall frames and floor frames
• Quantify ancillary products used with the frames.
• Liaise with builders and engineers to achieve appropriate outcomes.

To Successful you will need:

• Be able to demonstrate at interview experience in past roles and your Building and Construction knowledge.
• Essential knowledge of WA building requirements.
• Well-developed communication skills – we need an open communicator.
• Knowledge in IT and efficiencies in this space
• The ability to represent Independent Timber Supplies in line with our commitment to our customer.
• Experience in Timber detailing software- Mitek/Autosketch are essential.
• Maintain accuracy, time management with high concentration skills.
• Wanting a long-term employment with the desire to learn, grow and develop.
• Understanding this is a Full-time role working with an office-based team.
• Willingness to Drug and Alcohol screening

Pay: $70,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
