Hays Recruitment are pleased to represent an established family-owned construction company with the recruitment of their new Finance Officer. The company is experiencing rapid growth and are seeking a dedicated, motivated, and talented Finance Officer to join their finance team.
Your new role


You will be responsible for the full-function Accounts Payable and expenses processes, as well as supplier reconciliations, and importing the payments through to banking for sign off. Your responsibilities will be as follows:


Accounts Payable processing
EFT payments
General Ledger reconciliation
Complex travel and expense reimbursements
Chasing for approvals, and organising time effectively
Cash charge and credit card processing and reconciliation
Answering supplier queries and problem-solving regarding invoicing
Process refunds and troubleshoot supplier queries
Independently complete tasks to deadlines
Tracking compliance and qualifications
Proactively identify process improvements
Support payroll backup What you'll need to succeed
A self-starter, you'll pride yourself on your ability to organise and prioritise tasks and work with a team. You'll have a strong background in a similar accounts focused role and be able to hit the ground running. Although not essential, you'll be degree qualified or currently studying towards, or alternatively, an appropriate level of relevant experience.
