Gas Gathering Supervisors, HDPE Piping Supervisors, Moec. Roma, Western QLD. Foreperson / Supervisors (Construction). Full time. $75 – $100 per hour. Moec Water and Energy are looking for experienced HDPE Piping Supervisors to support our long-term Gas Gathering Construction Contract in the Surat Basin around Roma and Wandoan, QLD. Moec Water and Energy provides HDPE pipeline construction and gas gathering services to our clients in Mining and Oil & Gas industries in the Surat and Bowen Basin and other sites across Australia. The Supervisor role would involve leadership and coordination of an experienced pipeline crew in the safe installation of HDPE pipework on time and budget. About the Project: The works are ongoing and consistent with up to 2-3 years work. Moec self-perform all aspects of the work including civil, clearing, stringing, bulk welding HDPE pipe, mainline trenching and backfill, installation and tie-ins, live excavations and hot tap tie-ins, pneumatic testing and hydrotesting, completions and rehabilitation. The crew are highly experienced, so you won’t need to hold any hands. The client collaboratively works with us to ensure successful outcomes. Moec is a smaller niche pipeline business, so you also won’t be dealing with big company politics. The Roster is 18 days on 10 days off all in all out, so you won’t be getting calls on your break. The work is drive in drive out DIDO and a work Ute will be provided. Food and Accommodation is provided. Skills and experience Required: Skills and qualification relevant to pipeline and gas gathering construction in Oil and Gas and Mining Industry. Experience working as a Superintendent, Supervisor or Leading Hand. Excellent communication skills to liaise at all levels with various stakeholders. A desire and drive to execute and close out work successfully. An ability to deal with the ever-changing nature and stresses of Construction. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Sound communication skills and the ability to form relationships with both internal and external parties. The roll would also suit a leading hand interested in taking a step up as you will be supported. Candidates must be available to start work within 2-6 weeks and pass a pre-employment medical. Industry leading pay rates will apply. PAYG Hourly Rate or Salary can be considered. ABN can be considered.
