About the Role

It is an exciting time to be part of the energy transition at Jacobs as our Energy & Power business continues to experience rapid growth. We are working with established clients across the globe to deliver the Energy Transition. From major renewable energy projects to high voltage direct current inter country interconnectors and offshore grids, we’re integrating a multitude of these solution elements to build a cleaner and more resilient energy future.

Jacobs offer a full range of Energy & Power Project services from pre-feasibility, through to detailed design, tendering, construction and site supervision. We have an exciting opportunity for a  Graduate Transmission Lines Engineer to join our Perth Energy & Power (E&P) Transmission & Distribution team in 2025. In this role you'll work alongside our Senior Transmission Line Engineers, applying key skills in your field of engineering while also having the opportunity to develop skillsets in other engineering areas to design transmission infrastructure projects for our key clients across APAC. You'll gain hands-on exposure to meaningful projects ranging from transmission line route selection, structure design, electrical clearance assessments  – we’ll mentor you each step of the way to ensure you’re set up for success.

Here’s What You’ll Need

Ideally, by January 2025 you’ll hold a degree in either Civil / Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering . This is a unique role that requires applicants to hold the right to work in Australia. Bring your curiosity, collaborative spirit and strong communication skills, and we’ll help you grow, pursue and fulfil what drives you – so we can make big impacts on the world, together.

Our 2025 Graduate Program

As a Graduate at Jacobs, you’ll be a valued member of our team from Day 1 and work on real projects, bids and tenders from the get-go. From gaining hands-on experience, to participating in networking events and structured learning sessions, you’ll find new and inventive ways to help our clients make the world a better place.

Our teams offer a supportive environment to help you to learn, grow and excel. Working under the guidance and mentorship of our experts and industry leaders, you’ll develop the skills and knowledge to deliver the boldest solutions for the extraordinary and the everyday.

You'll receive structured advancement throughout the grad program, along with salary increases over your first two years. We offer a competitive salary, great employee benefits and income protection. Please note the salaries listed on our job advertisements are base salaries, excluding super.
