Interior Designer

We are seeking a creative and skilled Interior Designer to join our team on a full-time basis.

The Interior Designer will be responsible for translating our clients' visions into beautiful and functional interior spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualization and Planning:

• Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, functional requirements, and budget constraints.
• Develop design concepts, mood boards, 3D models and floor plans that align with client expectations.

Design Development:

• Select and source materials, furniture, and accessories that complement the overall design concept.
• Create detailed drawings and specifications for construction.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes and regulations.

Project Coordination:

• Oversee and manage the implementation of design concepts, providing guidance to contractors and the construction team.
• Source supplier quotes and input costs into construction estimating software
• Purchase materials and products included in specifications
• Attend site visits and undertake site measurements
• Undertake project styling

Client Communication:

• Maintain open and clear communication with clients throughout the design process, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.
• Present design proposals and updates to clients in a professional and engaging manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Interior Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
