About the Role:

We have an exciting new Team Leader opportunity for the right candidate. Our business is expanding, and we need a reliable and experienced individual to lead our newest Playground Construction Team.

To be successful you will need to be hardworking, punctual, and passionate about working outdoors. Previous experience is essential, as well as a great attitude and the ability to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Following a site plan, managing staff, organising trades and contractors
• Constructing nature play spaces - decking, forts, bush huts, hand pump, water play, rocks, logs etc
• Building playgrounds including modular playground construction 
• Excavation and preparation of sub bases, mixing concrete
• Installing rubber surfaces including wet pour rubber installation 
• Laying turf & synthetic grass installation 
• Planting, spreading mulch and irrigation systems 
• Constructing retaining walls and fencing 
• Using a laser level
• Laying decking and paving 
• Ensure the workplace is safe, healthy, and fit for purpose

About You:

• Experience in leading a team
• Happy to work away from home on Projects as required
• A current Manual driver’s license 
• White Construction Card 
• Blue Card (working with children) or willing to get one 
• Ability to read and understand plans
• Trade Qualification (Landscape Construction – Cert III or higher)
• Experience in Landscape Construction - Playscapes
• Will give consent to take part in drug & alcohol screening which will produce drug & alcohol-free results
