Project Engineer – Perth, WA Our client is seeking 2 x Project Engineers to work within their facilities located in Perth, WA on a 12-month initial contract. Title: Project Engineer Start Date: Negotiable Employment Type: 12-month initial contract Location: Perth, WA Working Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8-hour days Job Overview: Our client seeking a 2 x Project Engineers to join their Perth-based team working on a major microgrid project located in the Goldfields. The successful candidate will have proven experience in delivering complex projects on time and within budget. One role will focus on balance of plant and overall management of project deliverables. The other role will have a focus on delivery of a Solar PV Plant. It is envisioned the successful candidates will have 7-10 years’ experience and will work on the project starting immediately until projected completion in 2025. While the roles will be based in Perth, there will be some occasional site travel required. Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure project is executed in a safe, efficient, cost-effective, and timely manner.
• Act as the primary technical co-ordination interface with clients to ensure that their expectations are satisfied.
• Ensure the project conforms to the client's approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Coordinate with site teams to ensure successful construction and commissioning.
• Manage the procurement of materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety and environmental standards and regulations.
• Effectively manage assigned budgets within the company's total scope.

What you will bring:

• A Bachelor of electrical Engineering degree.
• Previous experience in successfully delivering projects within the renewable sector.
• Experience in project execution and planning is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of relevant safety and environmental standards and regulations.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite and relevant software.
