Project Engineer (Technical)

Opportunity to work on Public Sector Construction Projects. Your new company

Our client is a Public Sector Authority based on the North Side of Brisbane who are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team to provide specific project management lifecycle advice and ensure compliance on construction projects.

Your new role

In your new role, you will be providing support to the project managers in implementing and maintaining project controls on the delivery of complex projects. You will also be responsible for the following:

• Preparing project reports and updates on the project status
• Assist with the coordination of construction issues as they arise
• Review and audit the engineering drawings for construction projects
• Provide construction surveillance and auditing of projects
• Provide support throughout the project life cycle, including design, procurement and delivery

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed, you will ideally have the following:

• Considerable experience working in a position managing complex projects greater than $750,00
• Sound knowledge of current construction legislation
• Knowledge of design drawings, specifications and schedules
• Experience providing project advice on contract related matters
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management
• Construction White Card
• Current C Class Driver's Licence
