About The Company This gritty civil contracting business is known for their unforgiving approach to project delivery excellence, and as such they have a terrific track record of success on a number of major industrial developments in WA. They have recently secured a new scope of work (detailed earthworks & concrete foundations/columns) on a major mine infrastructure project in the south-west of WA that requires the appointment of an exceptional PROJECT MANAGER to lead their team on site. About The Role As PROJECT MANAGER you will be provided a dual cab ute and fuel card by the company, and work on 5/2 DIDO roster to a construction site located less than 2 hours drive from Perth. You will assume overall responsibility for the management and delivery of the project scope, on time and on budget, while leading a project team of 30-40 staff, and managing the client interface. This PROJECT MANAGER position will allow you to be based in Perth and travel to the stunning south-west WA region during the week, before returning to spend your weekends with your family and friends. The specific scope of work that you will be managing is an $8m detailed earthworks, concrete foundations and columns for a large storage building on an industrial site. The successful PROJECT MANAGER will be given the autonomy and responsibility to fully manage a team of 30-40 construction personnel. While leading the project team, you will work to develop a cohesive team culture and drive high performance while managing the client interface to nurture a long-standing business relationship. This role will suit a civil PROJECT MANAGER with proven 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager for civil contractors in Australia on civil/earthworks/concrete scopes of work in mining/industrial environments. T his is a contract role for a minimum of 6 months where you will be paid a terrific pay rate of $110/hr + Super, Dual Cab ute, fuel card & phone . Skills, Qualifications And Other Requirements

• Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (*preferred)
• 5+ years’ as PROJECT MANAGER leading delivery of civil construction projects (earthworks & concrete) for Civil Contractors in Australia
• Proven success managing teams as PROJECT MANAGER for Civil Contractors on projects including; detailed earthworks, concrete foundations/footings/columns/slabs
• Strong planning and scheduling skills
• Ability to manage, forecast and report on project costs and progress
• Excellent all-round communication skills to manage staff, subbies and the client interface
• Strong, proven leadership skills to lead a team of 30+ on site
• Currently Perth or Bunbury based to undertake 5/2 DIDO roster
• Existing rights to work in Australia
• Clean WA C Class Drivers licence
• Available within 1 weeks’ notice period (*maximum)
