ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a suitably experienced Roof Plumber based in Melbourne who can come on board and hit the ground running and get up to speed with a number of projects that are under way. We pride ourselves on providing a professional trade team; our goal is to exceed customer expectations consistently.

This is why we are looking for a Roof Plumber who has great attention to detail and take pride in the work they perform and the role they play within our business. NPS has established regular and satisfied customers, we are looking for team players, who possess well developed people skills, with the ability to deal with all customers in a professional manner and deliver high quality work, on time.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Install gutters and downpipes for water drainage.
• Apply flashing around roof penetrations.
• Lay and fix roof sheeting materials.
• Detect and fix roof leaks.
• Clean gutters and roof surfaces.
• Replace damaged gutters, downpipes, and flashing.
• Provide detailed condition reports.
• Follow safety procedures and use PPE.
• Maintain a safe worksite.
• Advise clients on roofing solutions.
• Provide service quotes.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.

ABOUT YOU

With several projects under way, we need reliable and committed Plumbers to join us, do you possess:

• 2+ years in roof plumbing.
• Experience in government and educational institute contract works highly regarded.
• Quoting experience highly regarded.
• Hold a current driver's licence.
• Plumbing registration or licence.
• Construction Induction (white/red) card.
• Police check and working with children's check would be advantageous and you must be able to obtain one if you don't already have one.
• A great attitude with a willingness to learn.
• An aptitude for problem solving.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Perform work under supervision either individually or in a team environment.
• Pride in your work.
