Your New Role

• Collaborate with our team to review civil plans, computations, and flood levels.
• Assess building over easement applications and legal points of discharge applications.
• Ensure compliance with permits related to engineering assets.
• Provide expert advice on complex planning and building development applications (Planning Referrals).
• Approve plans for engineering works, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Advise on Construction Management Plans required for major developments.
• Manage bonds related to civil permits, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Assist in processing applications for the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR).
• Contribute to high-level reviews of major development projects.
• Liaise with developers and contractors to address potential impacts on the Council's infrastructure.
• Protect the Council's assets by ensuring proper coordination.
• Assist in managing the Council's street lighting infrastructure.

What You'll Need to Succeed

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer licence preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in asset management or related roles.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
