OUR CLIENT - THE BUILDER:
Our client is an established and handsomely awarded Bespoke High-End Builder Working with some of Melbourne’s best Architects and interior designers delivering projects ranging from $4 - $7mil in the affluent areas of Melbourne (including the likes of South Yarra, Toorak, Hawthorn, Malvern, Richmond, Portsea, Sorrento + more striving towards being the benchmark and "go to" builder in the high-end market.



THE ROLE:

• Run and manage 2+ construction of high-end architectural homes $4mil+ each
• Proactively manage the construction phase in line with project management systems and processes, meeting budget and time frames;
• Liaise with trades, architects, engineers, and public authorities to ensure projects are compliant with BCA & Australian Standards;
• Assist with the development and implementation of OH&S systems and procedures;
• Maintain a high standard of quality assurance throughout the construction of the home;
• Manage Client issues immediately as they arise and work closely with the Construction Manager to ensure their prompt and effective resolution;
• Report weekly or as required to the Construction Manager;

IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• 7+ years experience working for true architectural luxury homes for a builder directly;
• Carpentry trade background (essential) & relevant tertiary qualifications;
• Sound knowledge of custom building workflow practices;
• Understanding of construction, techniques, terminology, and costs and being able to communicate this in Layman's terms;
• Knowledge of Basement Construction - Essential
• Unrestricted Drivers License; (Company Car will be provided)
• Full Unrestricted Australian Working Rights
