Job Description - Tilt Truck Driver Moreton Bay Region

We are currently seeking an experienced and hardworking Tilt Tray Driver to join our team and deliver professional and reliable service across our business. The nature of this position requires flexible people who can adapt quickly, and think on their feet. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager-Plant and will be based out of our Moreton Bay Depot at Narangba. You will have the support of a great site team and a great working environment. Industry experience and immediate start preferred.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate, load, restrain, deliver and pick-up plant and equipment using one of our fleet of tilt tray trucks.

Work safely within company and statutory Workplace Health & Safety requirements, policies and procedures, including various site safety requirements

Perform other tasks within your training and skill set outside of truck driving

Maintain an excellent standard of personal and vehicle presentation

Work unsupervised and as part of a team

Be punctual and reliable

Be flexible with start and finish times, with overtime required

Light yard work including washing, cleaning and moving equipment from time to time

Other duties as required to foster a team environment
The successful candidate will have:

A clear and organised mind and able to logically problem solve

Heavy vehicle drivers licence (HR or above) essential

Experience loading, unloading and load restraint of heave earthmoving mobile/plant equipment

A knowledge of South East Qld road network and suburbs

Mechanical aptitude desirable

MUST have ability to work unsupervised at times

Physically fit as from time to time some heavy manual handling may be required

Good verbal communication skills and a ‘can do’ attitude

Construction Industry White / Blue Card

High Risk License – Forklift (not essential but desired)
