We have partnered with a leading provider of Traffic Controllers within the Southern Region of Tasmania that are seeking expressions of interest from qualified Traffic Controllers who would be eager to join an on-call roster. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for flexible working hours and the chance to further develop their Traffic Control experience.

As a Traffic Controller, you will have a variety of tasks that include but not limited to:

• Directing and controlling vehicle and pedestrian traffic at construction or event sites.
• Ensuring the safety of the work crew and the general public.
• Setting up traffic management signs and equipment.
• Communicating effectively with the public and work crew.

What You Need To Succeed
As a successful candidate, you will have some experience in this position or sound knowledge of how to complete the tasks outlined above. The ideal candidate will need to be able to stand on their feet for long periods of time, be able to work within a team environment and be able to follow instructions. They will also possess the following:

• Current Traffic Control Qualification
• White Card
• Unrestricted Driver's Licence
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Flexibility to work on an on-call basis, including weekends and nights as required.

We will consider candidates of all levels of experience as long as they possess the above licences/tickets.
