Who We Are

Avia Solutions Group, the world's largest Aircraft, Crew, Maintenance, and Insurance (ACMI) provider, is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Skytrans, a renowned regional airline in Queensland. As part of our expansion into the Australian market, we are set to introduce jet operations, starting with the Airbus A320 family of aircraft. This will be in addition to our well-established Dash 8 and Caravan operation, servicing remote and regional Queensland as well as the Torres Strait.

Who You Are

As a prospective Cabin Services Manager, you are a detail-oriented leader with in-depth knowledge of aviation regulations, particularly those pertaining to cabin operations. You possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to manage diverse teams, and have a proven track record in enhancing cabin safety and operational efficiency. Your experience with regulatory bodies and ability to manage complex operational challenges set you apart.

What You Will Do

Reporting to the General Manager, Flight Operations, this full-time position encompasses significant responsibilities, including:

• Overseeing all cabin operations to ensure compliance with safety and security standards.

• Managing and supervising cabin crew training, performance, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Liaising with external entities like the Civil Aviation Safety Authority and equipment manufacturers to uphold operational standards.

• Making key decisions on risk tolerability and staff deployment to optimise cabin operations.

• Developing and maintaining effective communication across all levels, ensuring that all personnel are informed and prepared for their roles.

• Conducting and overseeing audits and checks to maintain and elevate professional standards within the cabin crew.

• Representing Skytrans in client interactions and ensuring that our operations reflect industry best practices.

Minimum Requirements

• Extensive experience in cabin operations management within the aviation industry.

• Strong familiarity with aviation safety regulations and cabin crew training standards.

• Proven ability to manage and supervise a team in a high-stakes environment.

• Excellent organizational, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.

Desirable

• Previous experience in a similar managerial role within aviation.

• Experience working with international aviation authorities and external partners.
