Job Description - Client services lead

Duties & Responsibilities Working collaboratively with the Client Services Manager and other stakeholders, you will oversee the daily service operations for your assigned service/site and contribute to the development and implementation of support plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Your responsibilities, encompassing effective and compliant service/site operation and clinical (allied health related) supports, requires effective leadership, strategic management, and a deep commitment to the well-being of those we support.
  • Collaborating with Client Engagement and Centralised Rostering teams to inform development and delivery of schedules of support and rosters of care for the assigned service/site
  • Ensure your team of support workers delivers supports that promote human rights and the empowerment of clients through person-centred service delivery and active support
  • Lead, mentor and develop the workforce with a focus on developing future leaders
  • Complete Performance Development Plans as required
  • Providing effective leadership and management to your team, including training, supervision, performance management, and fostering a positive work culture
  • Facilitating clients to actively participate in the planning, decision-making, and review processes related to their care and goals
  • Maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and adhering to budgetary constraints and administrative requirements
  • Collaborating with the Client Services Manager to conduct assessments of client needs and formulate individualised support plans and ensuring such plans cover all aspects of support required by clients and are reviewed/updated in a timely manner
  • Generating comprehensive reports that outline client specific needs to influence quality of care and NDIS funding outcomes
  • Monitoring and documenting changes in client clinical needs, ensuring timely adjustments to support plans as required
  • Monitor and control site or program budgets and resource usage
  • Bill any clinical activities undertaken appropriately
  • Monitor and appropriately manage the usage of Client's funding and work with corporate services support to drive efficiency and financial outcomes
  • Supervise and monitor the management of client information, ensuring data is collected, recorded, accurate, current and archived as required
Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor's or Masters Degree in an Allied Health Profession (e.g., Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work, Exercise Physiology)
  • Valid certifications including First Aid, CPR, Manual Handling, Medication Administration, and NDIS Quality, Safety, and You Certificate
  • Valid NDIS Worker Screening / Check Valid and Working with Children
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with relevant professional boards and authorities.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and sites, including weekends and public holidays.
