Job Description - Coordinator

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for improving patient care and experience? This is the opportunity for you! About The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Nurse to join our team at Greenslopes Private Hospital on a permanent part-time basis (48 hours/fortnight). In this role you will be the main resource person and leader in driving excellence with patient experience, outcomes and satisfaction. It provides coordination of consumer feedback (compliments, complaints, and suggestions) ensuring the best possible outcomes for both consumers and staff at Greenslopes Private Hospital. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement and providing clinical managers and staff with data, support and recommendations to help improve monitoring, delivery and safety of patient care and the patient’s experience and outcomes. Your Skills And Experience You will have a strong commitment to customer service, display professional communication and interpersonal skills and also meet the following essential criteria:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in an acute health care setting
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Demonstrate experience working in safety, quality and continuous improvement
  • Good knowledge of current practice with patient reported experience and outcome measures and the National Safety and Quality Hospital Standards and how they apply operationally
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport and effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • High level critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to successfully work as a team member and independently when required
  • Excellent computer skills using the MS office suite of programs
  • Demonstrate ability to work as a motivated, enthusiastic, and positive role model for all clinical and non-clinical disciplines and services within the hospital environment
  • Excellent work ethic and time management skills
Remuneration A base hourly rate ranging from $60.18 - $64.75 + superannuation, based on experience and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD RN/RM Level 3). What’s in it for you?
