Job Description - Customer Care Specialist - Remote Work


Job Description:


American Electric Power in Sydney, New South Wales, AU is seeking a dedicated Customer Care Specialist to join our team in a full-time remote work position. As an Associate Level Customer Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our clients.


Responsibilities: - Handle incoming customer inquiries and issues via phone, email, and chat - Respond to customer questions, concerns, and requests in a prompt and professional manner - Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively and efficiently - Perform account maintenance tasks such as updating customer information and processing payments - Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience - Meet and exceed customer satisfaction goals and metrics - Provide feedback to the team and management on ways to improve customer service processes


Requirements: - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or call center role - Hardworking and resilient attitude - Strong teamwork and collaboration skills - Excellent decision-making abilities - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Ability to work remotely and independently with minimal supervision - Proficient in using customer service software and tools - High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred
