About the Role
As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for our customers to help organise collections, pick-ups, quotes and to offer general support for freight enquiries. Based at the National Service Centre, you will provide an outstanding customer experience via phone and email. You will meet customer expectations by delivering a professional and timely service every time. This opportunity requires the flexibility to work a roster between 7:30am and 6:30pm Monday to Friday.

Your Duties Include
Take inbound customer calls
Professionally resolve requests for one-off quotes, estimated freight arrival times and pick-ups in a timely manner
Respond to email enquires as allocated
Complete KPI reports for selected customers
Communicate delays to customers and depots in a prompt and professional manner
To Be Considered for This Role
Experience offering outstanding customer service
Previous industry experience ideally obtained from within the Transport, Warehousing and Logistics Industry (desirable but not essential)
Previous experience in a call centre/customer care environment preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional phone manner
Intermediate PC skills with high levels of data entry speed and accuracy
Demonstrated ability to identify, prioritise and resolve problems in a timely manner
Exceptional ability to build rapport with a diverse range of internal and external customers
Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Previous experience working collaboratively within a team environment
