Discover Financial Services is seeking a motivated and resilient Customer Service Representative to join our team in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, AU. This is a full-time remote work position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
Responsibilities: - Provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat channels - Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner - Identify and escalate complex customer issues to the appropriate team members - Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer interactions - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to assist customers effectively - Collaborate with other team members to improve overall customer satisfaction and retention
Requirements: - Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus - Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively - Persuasive and able to navigate challenging customer interactions with empathy - Proficiency in using customer service software and systems - High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred - Must have access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace for remote work
