Job Description - Customer Support Manager for a Property Inspection and Risk Assessment Firm in Australia

Client Information

The Client helps mitigate the risks of purchasing a new property by providing thorough inspections conducted by qualified builders who check for deal breakers and hidden issues such as water damage, structural problems, and termites. Unlike companies that use tradespeople, their experienced builders ensure a comprehensive inspection across all areas of your potential property, allowing clients to buy with confidence.

Job Description

• Answer inbound sales calls and provide quotes over the phone using the software.

• Forward enquiries to the responsible franchise if the customer wishes to proceed.

• Respond promptly to inbound sales enquiry emails with accurate quotes.

• Provide accurate and helpful information, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues.

• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues, escalating complex problems to the appropriate teams when necessary.

• Work proactively to identify recurring issues and collaborate with the team to implement long-term solutions.

• Develop a deep understanding of our products and services to assist customers and provide accurate information effectively.

• Stay informed about product updates, changes, and promotions.

Must Haves

• Proven experience in customer service or a related role.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Empathetic and patient attitude towards customer inquiries and concerns.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
• Proficiency in using customer service software and tools

Nice to Haves

• Additional education or training in customer service.
• Previous experience in a remote customer service role.
• Experience within the building industry

Home Office Requirements
