Escape- Remote Dry Northern Territory Family Indigenous Community. About the Employer: This reputable national employer provides a range of social, education, sporting, community services, recreational services and activities, to Indigenous children, families and youth.

Objectively: Working in conjunction with the school and boarding hostel,
the Youth female Worker’s primary role is to supervise the physical, emotional and spiritual development of the students
under their care, providing a link between the boarding school and the day school, maintaining contact with the
parents and assisting in the planning and coordinating of various outside of school activities that promote wellbeing
and safety. The Youth Worker will:
• Build the self-esteem and self-confidence of young people.
• Support school attendance.
• Develop young people’s ability to manage personal and social relationships.
• Create learning opportunities and to develop new skills for young people.
• Encourage positive group atmospheres.
• Build the capacity of young people to consider risk, make reasoned decisions and take control.
• Develop a ‘world view’ which widens horizons and invites social commitment. Essentially Offering:
