Transformed into a luxurious hotel, this five-level sandstone and brick building features 90 meticulously designed guestrooms, a multi-award-winning neighbourhood restaurant and bar, and a range of all-inclusive spaces for meetings and events. Job Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident Guest Service Agent to help us deliver unforgettable guest experiences. We're here to bring a twist to hospitality, giving each guest the so-good satisfaction of having found a gem. And how do we ensure gem status? Guests will find (and seek) their singular touches from our hosts. Think a welcome that cascades into conversation. Your role will involve making our guests feel at home from arrival to departure, through thoughtful, personable, and sincere hospitality. You will manage requests with a smile, ensure the accuracy of reservations and accounts, and contribute to maximising occupancy and revenue. You'll also handle phone calls efficiently, coordinate transportation and luggage services, and assist with portering duties as needed. • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team
• Available to work within a rotating roster, including weekends, holidays and occasional nights
