Job Description - Contact Center Representative


Job Description: Community Health Systems is seeking a Contact Center Representative to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. This entry-level position is perfect for someone who is adaptable, driven, and looking to develop their career in the healthcare industry.


Responsibilities: - Handle incoming calls from patients and healthcare providers, addressing their inquiries and providing assistance as needed - Schedule appointments for patients and coordinate with healthcare facilities to ensure smooth processes - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the system - Provide guidance on medical services and insurance coverage options - Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient communication and resolution of issues - Meet and exceed customer service standards and goals - Assist with administrative tasks as needed


Requirements: - 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field preferred - Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals - Ability to analyze information and make sound decisions independently - Proficiency in using computer systems and databases - High school diploma or equivalent required - Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
