Job Description:
Tenneco, a global leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Customer Service Officer to join our team in Adelaide, South Australia. As a full-time Associate Level position, the Customer Service Officer will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
Responsibilities: 1. Manage inbound and outbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat. 2. Provide accurate and timely information on products, services, and policies. 3. Process orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately. 4. Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely manner. 5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. 6. Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions in the CRM system. 7. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices. 8. Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and report on trends and insights to the management team. 9. Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed.
Requirements: 1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role. 2. Resourceful and independent with the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. 3. Strong project management skills with a focus on multitasking and prioritizing tasks. 4. Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to think quickly on your feet. 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. 6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 7. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. 8. A positive attitude and a strong desire to provide outstanding customer service.
