Job Description - Customer Service & Sales

Looking for a challenging role that is 2 days a week? Your new company


Working for a silk flower rental company based in Richmond, which has been servicing clients for over 12 years, seeking a dedicated customer service and sales representative to bring in new clients to the growing business. Renting silk flowers to private homes, aged care homes, hospitals and corporate businesses, they supply a range of eye-catching arrangements that have a wonderful impact on any environment. This is a small business and be a part of selling exquisite works of art.


Your new role


This is a part-time position working Thursdays and Fridays for the business you will be responsible for bringing in new sales leads by reaching out to a wide range of organisations such as aged care homes to showcase flower arrangements on offer and bring in new recurring customers. This role will challenge and excite you every day, from door knocking, to outbound calls, delivery driving and flyer distribution. You will get the opportunity to utilise all of your sales experience to help expand this business. With a history of prior clients, you may be required to reach out to the leads you have identified from the internal database and see if you can renew interest of silk slower arrangements, book in sales meetings for yourself or for the owner to meet the potential customer, and then close the deal.


What you'll need to succeed


By working in a temporary capacity, you will get the chance to showcase your sales skills and expertise when it comes to sales generation. Working on Thursdays and Fridays in the Richmond office, you will work closely with the owner to bring sales strategies and ideas to life - and then execute them! This role is ideal for someone who is a confident seller. You will be on the phone or face to face selling the benefits of silk flower rental and be an expert closer. You will be required to bring in new business weekly - with the opportunity to use your own initiative to get the deal across the line, such as offering promotions. This position requires a valid Victorian driver's licence and your own car with full comprehensive insurance.
