Job Description - IT Service Management Coordinator

The salary range (excluding superannuation) is $74,986 to $96,410 , depending on skills and experience

This is a newly created role that offers a fantastic opportunity for an ITIL practitioner to expand their IT service management skills within an exciting and rapidly evolving industry. Reporting directly to the national Manager - Digital Systems, this position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a drive operational excellence in delivering IT services for the company and the stakeholders of our various digital service offerings.

The ITSM Coordinator will support PHA and its Digital systems team by:

  • Support delivery of AUSPestCheck®, APPD, PaDIl, ePHAC or a combination of these.
  • Assist system users with system issues and enhancement requests and raise tickets with Digital Systems Service Desk when appropriate.
  • Assist in the coordination and prioritisation of work, such as backlog grooming and incident and enhancement classification and prioritisation processes.
  • Learn, play with, explore and assist test the digital service offerings and develop SME knowledge in order to inform future design of the systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of CAB decisions, including change approvals, rejections, and associated actions within the IT Service Delivery platform.
  • Active participation in Service Integration and Management (SIAM) practices, ensuring seamless coordination and collaboration with external service providers and vendors.
  • Assist with the maturity uplift underway in regard to incident management documentation and BCP exercises and explore new ways of working.
  • Provide insights into system reports and work with the vendors to define and deliver on SLAs

To be successful the ITSM Coordinator you will have:

  • A demonstrated aptitude to quickly learn and understand new digital systems and technologies.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as a member of a team, demonstrating strong organisational and time management skills. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as relationship management skills. 
  • Hold a formal qualification in Information Technology
  • Relevant qualifications such as ITIL Foundation or Certified Change Management Professional. (Desirable)

The positions will ideally be performed in the PHA Office in Canberra (although we are open to discussing remote opportunities with the right candidate or flexible working arrangements).The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis for an initial 12-month period, with the potential for extension.
