Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant and pub, ensuring delightful service for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant and venue operation, including staff management, inventory, ordering, and financial management
- Train, develop, and supervise restaurant staff to provide exceptional customer service
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the venue
- Create and implement strategies to increase revenue and enhance our guests's experience
- Collaborate with the hotel owner and general manager to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the restaurant
- Manage schedules and payroll for restaurant staff, adhering to budget and labor cost goals
- Monitor daily operations, identify issues, and take proactive steps to resolve them
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for restaurant staff, providing feedback and coaching for improvement
- Foster a positive and professional work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration among staff members
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry
- Excellent customer service and leadership skills
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills
- Proven track record of increasing revenue and improving guest satisfaction
- In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, health and safety regulations, and marketing strategies
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred

- Wine knowledge (WSET 2 or 3 minimum)
