Job Description - Senior Accountant - Business Services

Over the years, they have expanded their services to include audit and assurances, forensic accounting, corporate advisory, and IT managed services advisory.

    Role Overview:

    They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Services Senior Accountant to join their team. This role requires an experienced professional with a strong background in accounting and tax.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and deliver high-quality accounting and business services to a portfolio of clients.
    • Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and management reports.
    • Help with tax planning and advisory work
    • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
    • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, addressing their needs promptly and professionally.
    • Mentor and supervise junior staff, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
    • Support the Partner with special client projects


    Qualifications and Skills:

    • CPA or CA qualification (or near completion) is essential.
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within public practice.
    • Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
    • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
    • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
