Job Description - Specialist

  • Join a well-known Australian bedding retail business as an ERP Specialist
  • Permanent opportunity, offering a total package of up to $125k
  • Location: Melbourne, Eastern Suburbs - Hybrid model

Environment

As a Pronto ERP Specialist, you will be responsible for providing financial and other support for the Pronto ERP environment, ensuring the business efficiently uses Pronto. You will work across different parts of the business, such as the Support Center and the stores, to understand the business's ERP requirements and collaborate with the Technology team to deliver successful solutions.

What you will do

  • You will act as a finance SME to ensure that Snooze is getting maximum value from the Pronto ERP system.
  • Work closely with the Finance team to gain an understanding of business processes and system requirements to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate how system changes will affect workflow, data, and reporting.
  • Assist in testing activities as required to ensure that the system works end-to-end, integrates with other systems successfully, and data is consistent.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Demonstrate a customer-focused in all behaviours which may include handling challenging and complex customer service enquiries.

What you have done

  • 3 + years of experience in using and implementing the Pronto Financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets)
  • Excellent understanding of Chart of Account design and system and data migration requirements for an ERP implementation.
  • Broad exposure and experience across all aspects of finance, including end to end finance processes, chart of accounts, budgeting and asset management.
  • A commercial and analytical mindset with a demonstrated ability to solve new and technically challenging problems, either independently or as part of a team
  • Outstanding ability to analyse, isolate, translate and interpret business needs and evaluate solutions to meet them.
  • Technical competence and working knowledge of systems support in a complex environment.
  • Experience in the creation and maintenance of business or technology processes.
  • Experience delivering ERP training and support.
