Job Description - Web Chat Representative - Remote Work

Job Description:


We are seeking a motivated and independent Web Chat Representative to join our team at Bank of New York Mellon Corp. This is a full-time remote work position based in Sydney, New South Wales, AU. As an Associate Level Web Chat Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through online chat channels.


Responsibilities: - Engage with customers via web chat to provide information, assist with inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely manner - Utilize problem-solving skills to address customer concerns and escalate complex issues to relevant teams - Maintain a high level of professionalism and excellent communication skills while interacting with customers - Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience and support overall business objectives - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, policies, and procedures to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers


Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service or contact center environment - Demonstrated ability to work independently and be resourceful in resolving customer issues - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively via written chat - Proficiency in multitasking and managing multiple conversations simultaneously - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
