Talent International is searching for a Solution Architect to join an iconic commercial organization based in Brisbane CBD. Initial 12-month daily rate contract

• $940 including super per day
• Based in Brisbane with 2 days WFH
• Large portfolio of projects
  

Overview: As the ideal candidate, you will have experience designing and implementing complex solutions with the capability to design solutions across cloud environments, networks and backup solutions, end-user computing, or cybersecurity. You will play a crucial role in shaping and optimizing our client’s IT infrastructure to meet current and future business needs while ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and cost-effective IT infrastructure solutions.
• Analyze and assess business requirements to align IT infrastructure with organizational goals.
• Create detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams and specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, developers, and IT staff, to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, tools, and platforms to meet project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and security policies.
• Oversee the integration of various components of the IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams and junior architects.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential technical issues.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the implemented infrastructure solutions, making adjustments as necessary.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IT infrastructure technologies.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Manage vendor relationships and coordinate with third-party service providers.
• Participate in budgeting and cost management activities for infrastructure projects.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate stakeholders on new systems and technologies.
  

The Right Candidate

• Extensive experience architecting complex solutions
• Ability to work across a breadth of projects and be tech-agnostic
• Experience designing infrastructure solutions, including one or more of the following: cloud, networking, EUC, and security
