Are you ready to take on a leadership role in driving sales within the education sector? Virtu, a leader in sustainable IT solutions, is seeking a dynamic individual to lead our education business. Position Overview:

We're looking for an experienced Sales Professional to manage our entire education business at Virtu. Your mission: lead our efforts to drive sales, forge lasting relationships, and elevate our presence in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Excellence: Develop and implement strategies to exceed sales targets within the education sector, utilizing tools like LinkedIn Sales Nav and Pipedrive.
  • Client Mastery: Become a trusted advisor to education clients, offering tailored solutions that address their unique needs.
  • Strategic Outreach: Deliver compelling sales presentations, negotiate effectively, and close deals to drive revenue growth.
  • Marketing Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and materials specifically tailored to the education sector, leveraging industry insights to maximize impact and lead generation.
  • Education Sector Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the education sector, informing sales strategies and product development initiatives.
  • Partnership Development: Cultivate strategic partnerships with educational institutions, industry associations, and other relevant stakeholders to expand our reach and enhance our position in the education market.

What You Bring:

  • Extensive experience in sales within the education sector, demonstrating a strong track record of success in managing and growing a business specifically within educational institutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of the education landscape, including understanding of key stakeholders, decision-making processes, and industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans tailored to the education sector, leveraging market insights and customer feedback to drive revenue growth.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance sales culture focused on achieving business objectives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective relationship-building with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders, as well as the ability to articulate complex solutions in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and a results-driven mindset, with a proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic sales environment while consistently meeting and exceeding targets.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to making a positive impact in the sector, driving innovation and delivering value-added solutions that address the evolving needs of educational institutions.

Qualifications:

• Experience in selling to decision-makers within educational institutions, ideally to organizations with student populations ranging from 200 to 1000 users.

• Proven track record in sales and customer engagement within the education sector, demonstrating the ability to understand and address the unique needs of educational organizations.

• Resiliency and persistence in developing business from cold calls and existing leads

• Consistent forecasting, meeting, and exceeding weekly & monthly commit targets

• Demonstratable experience in utilising Sales Methodologies (MEDDICC, Challenger, etc)

• Strong network of existing relationships with vendors and distributors specializing in educational technology solutions within Australia.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Enthusiasm for technology and a desire to stay updated with IT industry trends.

• Self-motivated and results oriented.

• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
