This is an exciting opportunity to join our organisation, which focuses on excellent patient care and first-class service delivery. Based in The Surgical Services Theatre Suites (11-15) overflow/same-day ward you will provide administration support to the Nursing staff. In this position, you will handle various administrative tasks, including organising patient packs, scanning documents, arrival, discharge and transferring of patients into the wards, scheduling follow-up appointments and entering data. In this role, you will be rostered from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm on Wednesdays through to Fridays. John Hunter Hospital is a Level 6, tertiary referral, major trauma and teaching hospital and is the largest hospital in the Hunter New England Local Health District.
