Preschool room (4-5 years) Attractive salary ($80,000 - $100,000/year) 8 hours off-the-floor programming time a week! The Centre This gorgeous 100 place service located in Penrith is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) to join their team on a full-time basis. The service follows a play-based and interest-based approach whereby children are provided the agency to voice and guide their own learning experiences. The centre boasts large indoor and outdoor spaces which are purposefully designed and well-resourced to ensure educators are provided with the opportunity to implement high quality educational experiences. This position will be working in the Preschool (4-5 years) room where there are currently 30 children in the room. The service also offers each ECT 8 hours of off-the-floor programming time a week, paid meals and an extra day off on your birthday! The Role As an Early Childhood Teacher your responsibilities will include: Assisting and working alongside the Room Leader to implement programming leading to successful learning outcomes for the children Motivating and leading a team of educators to achieve high-quality care for all children within the service Completing curriculum planning sheets and reflections to ensure the curriculum decision-making process is fully and appropriately implemented.
