About The Role As our next Head of Engineering Education Australia (EEA), you will lead the development and execution of EEA plans aligned with the Engineers Australia (EA) and EEA Strategy, through leadership and management of the EEA team. Location: The location of this role is flexible and can be based in any of our offices across Australia. As Our Head Of EEA, You Will

• Contribute to EA's strategic and financial planning, including business plans, operational plans, and budgets.
• Monitor and report progress to the General Manager, EEA & PD (professional development) against agreed budget and key performance indicators.
• Lead the prioritization, development, marketing, and delivery of learning and skills products and services, focusing on commercial success.
• Ensure high quality of learning and skills products and services.
• Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and threats.
• Identify and leverage opportunities for innovative and profitable product and service development.
• Collaborate with the Head of Professional Development for a relevant and flexible education program.
• Lead and motivate EEA team members to achieve agreed performance measures.
• Ensure EEA team members collaborate more broadly across EA for desired outcomes.
• Set performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and professional development.
• Prepare board materials and participate in board meetings as required by the GM, EEA & PD

Here’s What We’re Looking For

• You have demonstrated commercial acumen, product development and a track record of innovation and commercial success in learning and skills development, preferably within an engineering context.
• You exhibit a strong blend of operational, leadership and financial abilities and can apply them to uphold EEA’s market leadership.
• You can create and deliver operating plans and budgets that achieve EEA’s and EA’s strategy
• You are an outstanding people leader, able to motivate and manage a team and create a culture of innovation and accountability.
• You demonstrate strong skills in communication.
• You have built effective partnerships with customers, suppliers, partners and others to identify common goals and deliver value for all.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and writing), time management skills,
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and work assignments, competing deadlines and varied timeframes.
