The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) serves as the primary organisation representing the psychiatry medical specialty in Australia and New Zealand. The role

This role is responsible for the collaboration, design, development and implementation of engaging online learning experiences. You will have a strong background in instructional design, online learning development, and have a passion for leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyse learning needs and develop learning objectives.
• Design and develop interactive online courses, modules, and learning resources using instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and multimedia tools.
• Produce storyboards and other relevant documents.
• Utilise authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Rise and Storyline) to create engaging and interactive online learning content.
• Incorporate multimedia elements such as videos, simulations, quizzes, and interactive activities to enhance learner engagement and retention.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Previous experience in developing engaging learning content.
• Knowledge of learning theories, including assessment, and instructional design models.
• Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS).
• Basic HTML programming knowledge.
• Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management System.
• Visual design skills (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts.
• Proficiency with online learning authoring tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar software.
• Eligibility Requirement: Applicants must be either an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or a New Zealand citizen.
