Job Description - E-Billing/Billing Analyst

Your role At Allens, our business teams are also specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges. You'll be a part of our Financial Services Department in the Billing team. The Billing Team plays an important role in delivering the firm's business excellence and profitability strategic goals. Responsibilities As an E-Billing/Billing Analyst in our team you will work with new clients on the respective systems and be responsible for the following accountabilities:

  • Investigate and resolve rejected e-bills and Expert errors;
  • Assist in correcting problematic electronic LEDES files;
  • Maintain timekeeper, matter, rates and invoice data; and
  • Provide high quality billing support to all Partners, Lawyers and Practice Assistants, adapting to the changing needs of the role and business.

  • This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane
About You You will have:
  • Experience using Expert and understanding of billing processes in a legal environment (preferred)
  • Experience in a professional services environment preferable but not essential
  • The ability to work collaboratively and effectively within and across teams and offices
  • A willingness to go the extra mile to support, train and educate our clients
  • The ability to work remain calm under pressure and keep others focussed on the 'target'
  • A desire to seek constant improvement, be proactive and to be innovative
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
