About the Role:
The overall purpose of the position of Senior Lecturer in Physical Education is to make significant contributions to the teaching effort in Physical Education in the Sport and Exercise Science discipline and to contribute to the College through academic relevant administrative and research activities. An academic at this level is also expected to play a key role in scholarship, research and/or professional activities.
The position of Senior Lecturer will design and teach units, including online and preparatory material as well as convene units of study. The position of Senior Lecturer will be required to teach into the undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University, supervise higher degree students and have supervisory responsibilities for some sessional staffing.

This is a full-time continuing position (teaching and research) at an Academic C, $129,435-149,246 +17% superannuation classification, working 36.75 (1 FTE) hours per week.
About You:
The successful incumbent will be someone with energy who is innovative, progressive and collaborative in the way they work. They will be an excellent communicator who interacts well with others across the College and the University. The Senior Lecturer in Physical Education will contribute to the strength of the discipline of Sport and Exercise Science within the University by collaborating with Sport and Exercise Science staff across the First Year College and in the College of Sport, Health and Engineering in both teaching and research activities.
