The purpose of this role is to develop Market & Customer approach for NSW region with ongoing sales development and customer relationships. Job Description The successful candidate will be responsible for developing Market and Customer approach, ongoing Sales development and ensure that company operation and cost efficiencies are obtained, quality and safety standards are achieved and customer delivery deadlines are met. In this role, you will be: Searching for new customers who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing client potential in designated regions Focus on Factory Automation sales to achieve sales targets. Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities Developing long-term relationships with customers through managing and interpreting their requirements Availability to travel as when needed. Persuading customers that a product best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price and delivery Negotiating tender and contract terms and conditions to meet both customer and company needs Calculating customer quotations and administering customer accounts Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education and after-sales support services Reporting and analyzing Sales & costs Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects Providing training and producing support material for other members of the sales team Supporting marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets customer needs Liaising with other members of the sales team and other technical experts Helping in the design of custom-made products Regular visits to customer sites Qualifications To be successful you will have: Certificate/Diploma/Degree in  Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience Experience in automation sales, automated machinery, conveyors and production lines is desirable   Experience in Industrial Automation, including Electric Drives and Controls. Knowledge on servo systems, motion controls, PLCs, Safety PLC’s, VSD’s and HMIs is highly desirable Proficient PC skills/ Microsoft Applications/ Web etc..
