Sales Engineer - Industrial Automation

The Role

• As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for looking after clients in and around Adelaide CBD. 
• Looking after a range of industrial automation products and associated software (i.e., electrical components, control systems, motion control, sensors, and analytical software).
• Your portfolio of clients would mainly include industrial manufacturers, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, food and beverage companies and also to OEMS.
• You will be liaising with C-level executives, directors, procurement managers and the engineering team.
• The main objective of this role is to maintain and build strong relationships with the company’s key clients and develop new opportunities as they present themselves. 
• You will be reporting and working closely with the Regional Director who will also provide ongoing product/market training.

The Candidate

• The most important thing is Technical sales experience within the industrial automation space (i.e., sensors, motion control, capex, analytical software or other related products).
• If you have worked for companies such as ABB, Siemens, Schneider Electric, or other companies related to the industrial automation space, we would like to hear from you.
• We are looking for a solutions-focused person with a structured account management approach.
• In terms of personality, we are looking for energy, enthusiasm, and drive to succeed.

Remuneration

For the right candidate, our client offers between $110k-$125k base + Fully Maintained Vehicle + Commission + Super + Tools of the trade.
