Job Description - Associate Director, Strategic Fraud Prevention

We are truly a challenger brand, with challenger spirit.In this highly visible and business critical function you will have the responsibility for understanding the drivers and characteristics of customers with low intent to pay Optus for its contracted services and using this knowledge to develop, direct and refine the strategic control environments for the Optus Consumer, Business and Wholesale segments.Your role is accountable to define the frameworks and standards required that will be deployed by other teams to establish appropriate controls, standards, processes and programs across SingTel Optus and its subsidiaries to minimise loss through non-payment which arises early in customer tenure.Ready to reimagine your career at Optus?

-Own the organisational understanding of the methods by which fraudulent individuals extract value from Optus;
-You will use this information to educate the senior leadership of the organisation to facilitate co-ordinated prevention and mitigation actions as well as guide the roadmap of programs that will deliver significant and sustained loss prevention; &
-When required, you may be required to represent GCR on Fraud management matters for Optus both internally and externally!It starts with you!

-Validated leadership experience gained in Credit Risk / Compliance / Fraud / Loss Prevention with a global perspective;
-Risk management strategy development expertise as gained within a complex Credit and Fraud Risk environment;
-Strong IT literacy with highly developed written and verbal communication skills;
-Ability to communicate sophisticated technical and accounting issues at various levels;
-Capable of representing Optus on fraud related matters;
-Team driven to achieve results, empower and develop a strong, positive, and effective work culture; &
-Able to build positive relationships at all levels of business.The good stuff …
