The Opportunity  

We are in search of a talented, enthusiastic and creative Bar Supervisor who loves crafting exceptional drinks and is eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a dynamic dispense bar team and contribute to a vibrant dining experience.

Your day-to-day:

  • Supervise and inspire a team of skilled bartenders, providing guidance, training, and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Prepare and serve a wide variety of beverages promptly and efficiently, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Demonstrate an expert knowledge of our beverage menu including contemporary and classic cocktails, spirits, sakes and beers.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by engaging with guests, addressing feedback and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Work closely with the Venue Manager and Beverage Ops Manager to align bar operations with the overall restaurant vision and objectives.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop beverage and food pairings that enhance the overall dining experience.
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation and minimising waste, while optimising cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure that all bar operations comply with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and responsible alcohol service.

Our successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a similar role within a high-volume restaurant or upscale bar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of mixology, spirits, beer, sake and wine, with a passion for crafting unique and memorable beverages.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and foster a cohesive work environment.
  • Organisational and problem-solving skills to manage inventory, handle customer queries, and handle any operational challenges.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate changing business needs and easily adjust strategies to meet the dynamic nature of the industry.
  • Availability to work across a 7-day roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and other bar-related tools is advantageous.
