Job Description

Your Opportunity:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes to the highest level, meeting brand standards.
• Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation in line with recipes.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment in compliance with health and safety regulations and HACCP.
• Assist with inventory management and stock control.
• Monitor food preparation and wastage costs - contribute to controlling these by following efficient preparation methods and standard recipes.
• Work collaboratively with the entire kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience:

• Trade qualified with previous experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Experience with a hotel or restaurant environment is advantageous.
• Passion for food and a keen interest in developing a career in the culinary arts.
• Strong attention to detail, communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
