Summary: The Hotel Operations Manager ensures an excellent guest experience and effective management of hotel operations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and oversee accounting and financial management systems.
- Actively manage occupancy, revenue, and expenses to meet financial targets.
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase brand profile and attract new customers.
- Lead and supervise staff, ensuring adherence to hotel policies and procedures and resolving issues.
- Ensure high level of customer service and respond to inquiries, complaints, and feedback.
- Manage housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, and security functions to maintain clean, safe, and well-maintained premises.
- Oversee food and beverage service at restaurants, bars, and catering events.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare periodic reports on hotel performance for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in hotel or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Adept with financial management and accounting procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective marketing strategies.
- Advanced knowledge of computer software such as MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with hotel management software.
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
