Job Description - Hozpitality - Income Auditor

The Role You will join an energetic and passionate finance team who are responsible for tracking the cost of running Grand Hyatt Melbourne and ensuring our obligations are met. You will be responsiblefor monitoring revenue records and following internal procedures to ensure we comply with all our obligations. You will also be helping out Engineering department with some level of ordering. Day to Day

  • Ensure that all daily income received, was realised and distributed correctly
  • Run revenue and statistical interface from our systems to ensure all ledgers are updated correctly
  • Run daily reports and distribute them to the relevant department heads
  • Investigate and errors incurred and liaise with the Accountant and Director of Finance
  • Reconcile guest ledgers, AR ledgers and deposit ledgers ensuring the balance matches
What we are looking for?
  • Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality, Financeor Commerce
  • Previous experience within a five-star hotel or deluxe meeting venue
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationship with internal and external customer
  • Computer skills in MS Office and outlook essential, Opera/Envision EMS/RESERVE are desired
  • MUST have an unrestricted working visa for Australia.
