Job Description - Office Management, Culture and People Operations Specialist

We are looking for someone to manage the day-to-day operations of the office, assist senior management on various initiatives, work closely with People Operations to execute key processes, champion our in-office events (think BIG and FUN), and help take our company culture to the next level!

Requirements:

1. Office Management

  • Highly organised with a high attention to detail
  • Proactive and resourceful
  • Proficient in admin (it plays a crucial role!)
  • General knowledge around computers i.e. setting up computers for new starters, G-suite
  • Flexible and eager to learn
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Full working rights
  • Experience in events desirable

2. Talent Acquisition

  • Assist the Global Head of Talent by collaborating with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop comprehensive job descriptions.
  • Utilize various sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals.
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates to identify the best fit for each position.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).

3. Onboarding and Employee Engagement

  • Design and implement an effective onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  • Facilitate new hire orientations and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed.
  • Act as a point of contact for new employees, providing guidance and support throughout their onboarding journey.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, recognition programs, and employee surveys.

4. Performance Management and Employee Development

  • Assist in the implementation and administration of performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Support managers in addressing performance-related issues and providing guidance on employee development opportunities.
  • Identify training and development needs, and coordinate learning initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

5. HR Operations and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of HR reports and metrics for management review.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and people operations.
