About the role
Our recently renovated Bayswater head office is ready to welcome our next sales superstar! As a Business Development Manager, you will be a natural hunter who gets a rush actively seeking out new customers and sales opportunities. Utilising your healthy pipeline, you will identify new business across key categories and drive sales within our commercial division.
With a hunger for attaining new business, your key accountabilities will include:
• Systematically identifying, prospecting & ultimately winning new business across the entire product line.
• Actively creating connections through Cold Calling and networking, identifying decision makers and influencers to infiltrate and build long-term relationships.
• Effectively planning and executing consistent new sales pipelines.
• Completing market and competitor analysis.
• Managing sales activity through CRM systems including customer lists, activity plans and call reports, prospects, won and lost sales and opportunities.
• Adding value to customers by understanding their business needs, and providing solutions.
To be amazing in this role
You love the hunt! As a driven and energetic Business Development professional with strong commercial acumen, you pride yourself on your ability to infiltrate and problem solve. With strong connections across multiple categories, you can demonstrate:
• 2+ years direct selling experience in B2B sales.
• Proven experience in cold calling, phone sales and lead generation.
• Experience building pipelines within Hospitality, Healthcare, Apparel or Laundries will be highly regarded
• Outstanding communication skills
• Full drivers license and reliable vehicle
