Job Description - Clinic Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Clinic Manager to oversee the daily operations of our clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The Clinic Manager will work closely with healthcare providers, administrative staff, and patients to ensure the clinic runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise clinic staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve clinic operations
  • Monitor and manage clinic budget and expenses
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient confidentiality
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure quality patient care
  • Manage inventory and ordering of medical supplies and equipment
  • Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of clinic facilities
  • Handle patient complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Participate in community outreach and marketing efforts to promote the clinic

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Nursing desirable or Cert IV in Primary Health Care
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare management or administration
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Working with Children Suitablity Notice (Blue Card)
  • Registration with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
