ABOUT THE POSITION: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Clinical Nurse with expertise in Endoscopy to join our Education Team on a permanent, part time basis (0.5 FTE). Join the St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside team as Clinical Nurse - Education in our Endoscopy department at our state-of-the-art Chermside location. This is a part time position, working 19 hours per week (0.5 FTE) and will be pivotal in this autonomous but interdependent role with a strong, positive work culture. The education team rosters shifts Monday to Friday (various times) to ensure the right work/life balance You will bring your passion to the position where you will work with a supportive manager and extended education team, to meet the educational needs staff and manager of the endoscopy unit. A snapshot of your duties would include: Developing education resources Participating and developing the Perioperative Graduate Nurse Program Clinical Assessments and providing education. Working with the Nurse Unit Manager to meet the needs of the team. ABOUT YOU: You are outstanding at providing thoughtful and engaging education in the endoscopy space. Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse. Demonstrated educational abilities and use of best practice educational principles, including curriculum design specific to Endoscopy Nursing. Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and knowledge in Endoscopy Nursing, at least 5 years experience. Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong collaborative skills.
